About The Position

Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is seeking to hire Floor Technicians for the Moody Center. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, stripping, scrubbing, and finishing all hard floors and corridors. This is a night shift position, approximately from 10 PM to 5 AM.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments.
• Reliable Transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Janitor/Cleaning experience is a plus.
• Knowledge in operating T-16, T-12, T-350
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Responsibilities

• Strip, scrub, mop, finish, and buff all areas as scheduled.
• Inspect and clean all corners by hand that power cleaning equipment cannot reach.
• Remove floor drain inspection plates, and clean by hand when necessary.
• Inspect for finish build-up and correct.
• Report to the Cleaning Supervisor, areas he/she feels require a different maintenance schedule.
• Inform the Cleaning Supervisor of any leaks, maintenance concerns, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain all equipment in good condition.
• Vacuum, and clean carpet areas as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
