About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role supports a sanitary, welcoming environment and positive experiences for residents, customers, staff, and guests. The Floor Tech performs floor-care tasks, operates equipment, keeps activity records, and reports maintenance or safety issues while following infection-control policies and company procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor-care experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must reside within the service area.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous floor-care experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean, buff, and refinish floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor-care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor-care activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
