About The Position
Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Floor Tech for a long-term care nursing facility in Deltona, FL. This role involves maintaining all floors within the facility through various cleaning and maintenance techniques. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with day and evening shifts. Alternating weekends and holidays are required. Walk-ins are welcome to fill out an application in person.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
Nice To Haves
- Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.
- Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.
- Utilize and safely operate extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
- Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
