While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Requirements

• Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms.
• The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 POUNDS.

Responsibilities

• Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required
• picking up condemned product that has fallen on the production floor
• sort and grade product
• make boxes
• bag finished product
• pack bagged product into boxes
• tape boxes
• scale boxed product to required weight
• label boxes as applicable to customer specifications
• maintains work area in a safe and sanitary manner
