CONVERSION - Floor Support Clerk - 1st Shift

About The Position

The Floor Support Clerk sets up and stages mail and parcels, and transports mail and supplies to designated locations to facilitate movement throughout the facility. The role works in a warehouse terminal and may be reassigned to alternate operational areas as business needs require. Duties may be supplemented or revised by DHL at its discretion.

Requirements

• Understand and carry out oral instructions.
• Understand standardized math processes, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Operate pallet jacks.
• Operate non-powered hand tools such as hammers and wrenches.

Nice To Haves

• High school education or equivalent training.
• At least 6 months of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail in blue bins and large cardboard boxes (Gaylords) up to 60 inches tall throughout the terminal to designated areas using a pallet jack or other transport equipment.
• Set up and stage mail and parcels in designated areas.
• Move mail and parcels to their proper locations within the terminal.
