About The Position

The Apothecarium, a trusted, award-winning cannabis retail brand, is seeking a full-time Floor Supervisor for its Lancaster, PA dispensary. This role involves providing compassionate, friendly, and professional customer service, assisting patients and caregivers with cannabis recommendations, and acting as a Leader on Duty (LOD). The Floor Supervisor will handle various tasks, including opening the store, training new employees on POS and e-commerce systems, and addressing complex patient questions. Strong situational awareness and emotional intelligence are crucial for working within a diverse team.

Requirements

Must meet age requirements by state as determined by the Department of Health or State Regulatory Commission.
At least one (1) year of customer service, retail, or related experience preferred.
Must be flexible regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience.
Able to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, and/or walking for extended periods of time.
Able to handle cash or card transactions with patients using an electronic processing system.
Stand constantly.
Walk frequently.
Reach and twist/turn with hands and arms.
Climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
A complete background investigation will be conducted based on the rules of the specific State in which the employee is hired.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, friendly, and professional customer services to patients.
Assist patients and caregivers with cannabis recommendations, including product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration.
Serve as a Leader on Duty (LOD).
Open the store and prep staff for customers.
Train new employees on the POS system and Ecommerce platform.
Assist patients with difficult questions regarding product usage.
Maintain strong situational awareness and EQ while working within a diverse team.
