About The Position

The Floor Staff at Rock Spot Climbing are responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to members and guests. Floor Staff also are responsible for ensuring a safe and fun environment for our customers through instruction and group facilitation. They complete these duties under the supervision of a shift supervisor. Our team members are dynamic individuals who are on board with our Mission and Core Values, noted below.

Requirements

• Punctual and reliable
• Previous indoor rock climbing and belaying experience
• Safety conscious
• Previous experience working with children
• Customer service and sales experience
• Outgoing, friendly personality

Nice To Haves

• High school Diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class customer service, making customers of all levels of experience feel welcome.
• Provide high-quality instruction, including orientations, belay instruction, and belay services for members and guests.
• Monitor the climbing floor for potential safety hazards and regularly evaluate customer belay skills.
• Maintain the quality of the climbing product by performing necessary route maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain a welcoming environment by cleaning customer and staff focused areas throughout your shifts.
