About The Position

This position performs entry-level skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The Floor Operator visually inspects floor equipment and makes adjustments when needed, monitors product throughout the processing phase, and operates meat-side equipment to provide quality product for customers. The position requires completing assigned duties and required training, maintaining legible paperwork, and reading documents such as invoices, packing slips, and material records. The work schedule is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Starting pay is $19.35 per hour.

Requirements

At least 3 months of working history with one employer listed on the application.
Willingness to work on your feet for 12 hours.
Willingness to complete all required job training.
Legible handwriting.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to walk, bend, stand, and frequently lift up to 70 pounds.
Ability to read invoices, packing slips, and records of materials, and complete Tyson paperwork.

Nice To Haves

3 months of operator experience preferred.
Computer experience preferred.
