About The Position

Woodinville Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care Services, part of Cara Veterinary, is looking for a Floor Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for an experienced veterinary receptionist, veterinary assistant, or Licensed Veterinary Technician looking to step into leadership while remaining involved in patient and client care. The Floor Manager will lead by example, ensuring the hospital operates efficiently and effectively. The position involves working alongside the team, providing direction, support, and setting the pace. The role offers the opportunity to utilize veterinary experience, develop leadership skills, and positively impact the experience of team members, patients, and clients in a dynamic environment that handles both general practice and urgent care services.

  • Understanding of how a veterinary hospital operates

  • Stays calm, organized, and clear when the floor gets busy
  • Coaches and supports the team while maintaining strong working relationships

  • Communicates clearly with hospital leadership and across the team
  • Understands the importance of both the patient and client experience
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that includes both general practice and urgent care
  • Eager to grow and sees this role as an opportunity to develop as a veterinary leader
  • Experience as a veterinary receptionist, veterinary assistant, or LVT

Responsibilities

  • Preparing the support team schedule
  • Leading and assisting with one-on-ones with Team Members
  • Coaching in the moment and setting the tone on the floor
  • Supporting inventory management and ordering supplies
  • Assisting with quarterly inventory
  • Supporting efficient patient flow and day-to-day hospital operations
  • Working side by side with the team, modeling the standard you hold them to
