About The Position

Custom House Restaurant Group is seeking a guest-oriented Floor Manager for Ventana Grill. This role is responsible for executing the company's core belief that taking pride in staff and service creates an exceptional food and beverage experience. The Floor Manager should also have the experience to efficiently handle all aspects of day-to-day restaurant operations. The company owns and operates 5 restaurants on the Central Coast between Pismo Beach and Avila Beach and believes in investing in their people, fostering a culture of genuine care and respect.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience in a restaurant environment
  • Prior supervisory or managerial experience
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Capable of working 8+ hour shifts on your feet
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (e.g., trays, cases, kegs); reasonable accommodations available
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid food handler certification (within 30 days of hire)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
