Floor Lead Night Shift

About The Position

Crown Uniform And Linen is hiring a full-time Floor Lead for the night shift, Monday through Friday. The Floor Lead supervises staff in production areas as directed by the Production Manager, supports training and implementation of procedures, and helps ensure quality and production standards are met. The role also involves setting up and operating machinery, conducting inspections, maintaining records, and following safety procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers and staff.
Motivational and analytical skills.
Dependability and professionalism.
Basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy.
English required.
Ability to lift 10–30 lbs frequently.
Ability to stand most of the day.
Ability to stoop, turn, bend, reach, push, kneel, and pull.
Ability to wear a protective gown and gloves if required.

Responsibilities

Supervise staff in production areas as directed by the Production Manager.
Help train new employees.
Assist in implementing procedures created by the Plant Manager.
Hold staff accountable for quality and production standards.
Ensure the production line achieves its goals.
Set up and operate machinery according to established procedures and policies.
Ensure machinery operates efficiently and effectively to meet productivity standards.
Perform daily inspections before beginning operations.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Manage required paperwork and records.
Attend staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
