About The Position

Bold Lives Men's Thrift will provide a high-end shopping experience without the high-end price tag, giving men the confidence to look sharp and live boldly. The Floor Lead will lead daily sales floor operations, support team members, and ensure a consistent, welcoming, and mission-driven environment in alignment with Bold Lives standards.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome every customer who walks through the door, shares the store's mission, and explains current sales or in-store events.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all points of contact - assist customers with purchases, provide product information, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Help manage inventory, including receiving donations, stocking, and merchandising.
  • Organize and stock merchandise, ensuring displays are visually appealing and aligned with store standards.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety and operational policies, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers and volunteers.
  • Maintain a quick and efficient checkout process and share about the Partner of the Month at every transaction.
  • Serve as a keyholder: open and close the store, including balancing registers, preparing deposits, conducting bank runs, and troubleshooting register issues.
  • Provide leadership to the sales floor team: set the tone for the shift, delegate tasks, and hold team members accountable for their responsibilities.
  • Act as the point person when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is out of the building.
  • Maintain a problem-solving attitude; take initiative to identify needs and address them efficiently.
  • Review scheduling/communication tools (e.g., Sling) prior to shifts and ensure team awareness.
  • Demonstrate high SQ (Spiritual Quotient) and EQ (Emotional Quotient) by responding quickly and sensitively in different situations, praying and ministering to team, customers and volunteers.
