About The Position

JBS is seeking an hourly Floor Janitor 1st Shift Team Member. This position starts at $18 per hour. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing machinery and floors in a production line setting, being responsible for basic cleaning in assigned areas, and setting up, stocking, and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies. The Floor Janitor will monitor and maintain the sanitation and organization of their assigned areas, operate heavy equipment, and stay aware of surroundings, notifying a supervisor of any hazards. Other duties as needed or assigned may also be part of the role.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent certification
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be well-organized with good attention to detail
Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others
Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, instructions and to deal with problems involving a few different variables.
Strong desire to work hands-on work environment
Good attendance and safety records
Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities
