Floor Installer - Hard Surfaces (Luxury Vinyl, Laminate, etc.)

Our installers are the frontline of our business, responsible for executing quality and craftsmanship, respecting the customer and their home, delivering on promises, and ensuring a clean job site. Requirements
- 5 years in professional flooring installation.
- Valid driver’s license and clean, reliable vehicle.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- The position requires repetitive crouching, squatting, standing, walking and lifting.
- Own all the necessary trade tools and equipment for flooring installation.
- Must have own insurance (general liability, workers comp, and auto) for all jobs.
- All of our installers and helpers must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Have knowledge of units of measurement and able to complete needed math calculations.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with residential and commercial projects is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install luxury vinyl plank/tile (LVP/LVT), laminate, etc.
- Install Floating and glue-down floor systems to manufacturer specifications
- Perform subfloor prep including leveling, patching, moisture mitigation, and underlayment installation
- Complete layout, cuts, transitions, and trim work (reducers, T-molds, stair noses, base/shoe) with precision
- Handle demo and removal of existing flooring as needed
- Daily and final cleanup of the job site to company standards.
- Keep tools organized and clean and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Ensure safe, organized, and efficient work practices at all times.
- Ensure high quality company standards are met every time.
- Travel throughout the week.
- Review and understand the scope of work before arriving on site.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and polite manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
