Requirements
- 5 years in professional flooring installation.
- Valid driver’s license and clean, reliable vehicle.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- The position requires repetitive crouching, squatting, standing, walking and lifting.
- Own all the necessary trade tools and equipment for flooring installation.
- Must have own insurance (general liability, workers comp, and auto) for all jobs.
- Have knowledge of units of measurement and able to complete needed math calculations.

- Experience with residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Install carpet using stretch-in and glue-down methods, including broadloom and carpet tile.
- Perform proper prep including tack strip, cushion, seam sealing, and subfloor readiness.
- Execute seaming, trimming, and finishing work with high attention to detail.
- Handle demo and removal of existing flooring as needed.
- Daily and final cleanup of the job site to company standards.
- Keep tools organized and clean and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Ensure safe, organized, and efficient work practices at all times.
- Ensure high quality company standards are met every time.
- Review and understand the scope of work of the project before you get there and familiarize yourself with the project file.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and polite manner. Work to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with every aspect of the job.
