About The Position

The Floor Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and standards of quality throughout the hotel's public spaces. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays, and involves handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction. The position adheres to all safety and housekeeping procedures, cleans assigned areas according to franchise and hotel standards, and restocks supplies. Additional deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning tasks may be assigned, along with other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum one year cleaning experience
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean hotel public areas as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
• Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
