About The Position
Floor Houseperson is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas. This role also involves assisting room attendants with linens and trash, stocking linen closets with amenities and supplies, and performing periodic deep cleaning assignments. Special projects may include flipping mattresses and moving furniture.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in English.

- Willingness to "pitch-in" and help co-workers as a team player.
- Ability to lift and move linens and carts weighing up to 100 lbs. through corridors.
- Considerable physical activity on a continuous basis throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas.
- Assist room attendants with linens and trash.
- Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants.
- Take supplies directly to room attendants.
- Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
- Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
- Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
- Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
- Flip mattresses.
- Move furniture.
- Perform periodic deep cleaning assignments.
