About The Position

The Floor Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and standards of quality throughout daily assignments in public spaces. This role involves handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, observing all safety and security procedures, and completing deep cleaning tasks as scheduled. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Minimum one year cleaning experience
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services assigned public spaces according to franchise and hotel standards.
• Handles guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and security procedures.
• Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
• Completes additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
