Location: Midtown Manhattan Schedule: Monday – Friday Pay Rate: $22.00/hour Are you passionate about creating exceptional workplace experiences? We are seeking a friendly, service-focused Floor Host to serve as the primary point of contact for employees and guests within a professional corporate environment. The Floor Host plays a key role in ensuring the workplace is welcoming, organized, and operating efficiently. This position is ideal for candidates with hospitality, hotel, customer service, concierge, or workplace experience who enjoy helping others and taking ownership of their space.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, concierge, workplace experience, hotel operations, or a related field
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the go-to resource for employees, visitors, and guests on assigned floors
  • Provide a welcoming and professional experience for everyone entering the workspace
  • Respond promptly to workplace requests and service inquiries
  • Build positive relationships with clients and employees through exceptional customer service
  • Ensure meeting rooms are clean, organized, and ready for use
  • Assist with meeting setups and room resets throughout the day
  • Coordinate catering deliveries and meeting support requests
  • Monitor conference rooms and common areas to maintain a professional appearance
  • Conduct routine floor walks to identify and address workplace needs
  • Stock and maintain office supplies, pantry items, and shared spaces
  • Coordinate minor facility requests and report maintenance concerns
  • Assist with furniture moves and workspace reconfigurations as needed
  • Anticipate employee and guest needs before they arise
  • Help create a positive, engaging, and productive office environment
  • Support special events, employee programs, and workplace initiatives
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism
