About The Position

The Floor Finisher cleans and refinishes floors through tasks such as buffing, stripping, and waxing, following standard housekeeping department procedures. The role may also involve terminal cleaning of operating room suites. The position is full time at 40 hours per week, scheduled from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with rotating holidays and work every other weekend.

Requirements

• Less than 2 years of experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of experience.
• Less than 2 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care and project cleaning functions in assigned areas.
• Keeps equipment clean and functional according to procedures.
• Handles hazardous and infectious waste properly.
• Reports defects to the supervisor.
• Responds to emergency spills according to procedure.
