About The Position

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
Nice To Haves
- Experience in housekeeping/laundry in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, stripping, and waxing floors throughout the long-term care facility.
- Clean and disinfect floors and high-traffic areas according to infection-control and facility safety standards.
- Operate and maintain floor-care equipment and promptly report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Coordinate cleaning activities around residents, staff, meals, and scheduled activities to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
