About The Position

The Floor Care Technician performs floor care cleaning services, window cleaning, and general janitorial duties according to client and company standards. The role provides timely, effective workmanship while maintaining punctuality, practicing safety, and following company floor care procedures. The technician maintains floor care equipment and completes assignments thoroughly to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Extensive knowledge of floor care products.
Working knowledge of multiple hard-floor surfaces, such as marble, granite, and VCT.
Working knowledge of carpet cleaning procedures, including shampooing, extracting, and bonneting.
Ability to perform window cleaning and power washing duties.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Planning, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
Time management skills.
Organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate, and follow up.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of floor technician experience.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

Follow client and Servicon safety programs, promote safety among team members, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform floor care services, including stripping and refinishing hard-surface floors, carpet care and extraction, and operation of specialized floor care equipment.
Complete assigned work in accordance with Servicon floor care procedures and processes.
Inspect assigned areas during and after work to verify compliance with site-specific procedures and the client's Scope of Work (SOW).
Keep supplies stocked and equipment clean and in good operating order; report malfunctioning equipment promptly.
Track inventory and equipment, provide feedback to the direct manager, and monitor utilization for efficient, cost-effective use.
Perform window cleaning and power washing duties.
