Floor Care Technician
About The Position
As a Floor Care Technician at Westgate Resorts, you will be responsible for cleaning carpets and floors in guest units and public areas of the resort. This role involves operating and maintaining all floor cleaning equipment, and performing floor stripping and waxing as needed. You will have the opportunity to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members. The ideal candidate is curious about learning new processes and enjoys keeping floors safe and clean.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- High school diploma or general education degree GED.
- The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Follow instructions without close supervision.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
