About The Position

As a Floor Care Technician at Westgate Resorts, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of guest units and public areas by expertly cleaning carpets and floors. This role involves operating and maintaining floor cleaning equipment, stripping and waxing floors as needed, and working independently or as part of a team to ensure a welcoming environment for guests. Requirements

Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
High school diploma or general education degree GED.
The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Follow instructions without close supervision.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Clean carpets and floors in guest units and public areas of the resort
Operate and maintain all floor cleaning equipment
Strip and wax floors as needed
Work independently or with a team
