About The Position

Red River Sanitors, a local business in Shreveport with over 55 years of expertise in commercial cleaning and facility maintenance, is seeking a Part-Time Floor Care Technician for evening shifts. We serve Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas, aiming to provide a cleaner, healthier environment for workspaces.

Requirements

• Reliable Transportation
• Must be willing to consent to/pass a background screen

Responsibilities

• Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas.
• Moving furniture before and after cleaning.
• Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors.
• Operating floor equipment including extractors and buffing machines.
• Use hand and power tools such as floor polishers, vacuum cleaners, mops, floor strippers.
• Inspect floors for any damage and carrying out minor repairs.
• Measuring chemicals correctly.
• Operating chemical dispensing units.
• Labeling chemicals correctly.
• Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.
• Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Assisting with the hazardous waste collection as requested by your supervisor.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.
