About The Position
We are seeking a Full Time Floor Associate for Pauls Valley ACE Hardware in Pauls Valley, OK. This position is in the Retail category and requires a willingness to work evenings and weekends. The primary responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, maintaining store appearance, and assisting with merchandise and operational tasks.
Requirements
- Good physical condition for lifting, merchandising, and loading customers
- Ability to work flexible hours; including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Nice To Haves
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred
- Retail experience is a plus
- Ability to operate office machines, computers, and Excel is a plus
- Knowledge of merchandise
Responsibilities
- Help customers find what they need in a professional and courteous manner
- Cleaning and stocking merchandise
- Ordering merchandise
- Cut keys
- Mix paint
- Cut glass and plexiglass, where applicable
- Answer telephone
- Help load merchandise for customers
- Help check in freight
- Straightening and stocking bins, warehouses, and yard
- Updating prices
- General store maintenance (floors, trash, restrooms, etc.)
