The Floating Property Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the property. This includes ensuring efficient operations, overseeing supplier contracts, maintenance, lease administration, and monthly reporting. This position also creates a positive experience for the residents, associates, and clients. The role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the property, including resident satisfaction and retention, full resident lifecycle activities (e.g., lease administration, rent collection and delinquency management), property P&L, and property marketing in accordance with company standards. The Floating Property Manager is responsible for meeting client expectations and providing an excellent customer service experience, as well as recruiting, interviewing, providing corrective feedback, and hiring. They will create a climate where associates want to do their best by leading and communicating a shared vision and providing coaching and development. The role also includes executing the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents, understanding operations guidelines within the property management agreement, responding to resident complaints and issues, and serving as a liaison to residents and the corporate office regarding common area maintenance and landlord rules. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, publications, and networking is key. The Floating Property Manager will also organize and implement site natural disaster and emergency evacuation plans, and manage property and associate safety records, property loss claims, and risk management initiatives. Other duties as assigned.
