About The Position

Ingles Markets is seeking a licensed, experienced Pharmacist to provide patient care and support pharmacy operations across assigned retail locations. The Floating Pharmacist dispenses medications safely and accurately, counsels patients, administers immunizations, maintains regulatory compliance and pharmacy records, and works with pharmacy and store teams to deliver efficient, high-quality service. The position floats between assigned retail locations as scheduled.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
• Licensed Pharmacist registered through a state board of Pharmacy.
• Certified Immunizer.
• Valid CPR certificate.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Provide patients with clear, professional medication counseling.
• Administer immunizations and vaccinations in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, healthcare providers, and store leadership.
• Support daily pharmacy workflow and promote efficient, high-quality service.
• Maintain accurate patient records and required pharmacy documentation.
• Assist with inventory management, medication ordering, and control of pharmacy supplies.
• Address patient questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
• Support training and development of pharmacy technicians and other team members as needed.
• Float between assigned retail locations as scheduled.
