About The Position

Ingles Markets is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care and support the daily operations of its pharmacy locations. The Floating Pharmacist ensures safe and accurate medication dispensing, counsels patients, maintains regulatory compliance, and works with pharmacy team members to deliver quality service. The position floats between assigned retail locations as scheduled.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Licensed Pharmacist registered through a state board of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Provide patients with clear, professional medication counseling.
• Administer immunizations and vaccinations in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, healthcare providers, and store leadership.
• Support daily pharmacy workflow and promote efficient, high-quality service.
• Maintain accurate patient records and required pharmacy documentation.
• Assist with inventory management, medication ordering, and control of pharmacy supplies.
• Address patient questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
• Support training and development of pharmacy technicians and other team members as needed.
