About The Position

Atlantic Pacific Companies is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Floating Apartment Maintenance Technician for their properties in the Metro-Atlanta area. This is a full-time position that requires local travel. The technician will be responsible for traveling to a single property each day to complete work orders, prepare apartments for move-in, perform preventative maintenance, and handle property upkeep and repairs. The role involves routine maintenance in apartments, common areas, and amenity spaces, as well as assisting with cleaning and grounds monitoring. The technician will maintain and repair the physical structures of buildings and grounds.

Requirements

• High School diploma, or GED equivalency, and a minimum of 1-2 years direct experience as Make Ready or Maintenance Technician for an apartment community.
• EPA I or II, Universal or HVAC certified is required.
• CPO Certification is a plus and experience maintaining pools is required
• Thorough understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, landscaping, painting, cleaning, appliances, utilities, elevators, fencing/gates, and fire systems.
• Experience with Onesite, Yardi, or other property management software is a plus
• Must be able to local travel up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance in individual apartments, common areas and amenity areas.
• Prepare vacant units for new move-ins, which may include the maintenance of the unit, painting, cleaning, HVAC maintenance/repairs and carpet cleaning.
• Complete work orders and help to monitor and maintain the grounds.
• Respond to On-Call Emergency in a timely manner.
• Maintains and repairs buildings: areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, landscaping, painting, cleaning, appliances, pools, utilities, elevators, fencing/gates, and fire systems.
• Assists with moving furniture, appliances, loading, unloading, and storing supplies.
