About The Position

Atlantic Pacific Companies is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Floating Apartment Maintenance Technician for its properties in the Metro-Atlanta area. This role involves traveling to a single property each day to complete work orders, prepare apartments for move-in, perform preventative maintenance, and handle property upkeep and repairs. The technician will perform routine maintenance in individual apartments, common areas, and amenity areas, prepare vacant units for new move-ins, and assist with various cleaning functions and grounds monitoring. The position requires maintaining and repairing the physical structures of buildings and grounds.

Requirements

• High School diploma, or GED equivalency, and a minimum of 1-2 years direct experience as Make Ready or Maintenance Technician for an apartment community.
• EPA I or II, Universal or HVAC certified is required.
• Thorough understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, landscaping, painting, cleaning, appliances, utilities, elevators, fencing/gates, and fire systems.
• Must be able to local travel up to 80% of the time.

Nice To Haves

• CPO Certification is a plus and experience maintaining pools is required
• Experience with Onesite, Yardi, or other property management software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance in individual apartments, common areas and amenity areas.
• Prepare vacant units for new move-ins, which may include the maintenance of the unit, painting, cleaning, HVAC maintenance/repairs and carpet cleaning.
• Complete work orders and help to monitor and maintain the grounds.
• Respond to On-Call Emergency in a timely manner.
• Maintains and repairs buildings: areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, landscaping, painting, cleaning, appliances, pools, utilities, elevators, fencing/gates, and fire systems.
• Assists with moving furniture, appliances, loading, unloading, and storing supplies.
