About The Position

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Floating Maintenance Technician at Richman Property Services, Inc. Richman Property Services, Inc. (RPS) is currently seeking a full-time Floating Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? Requirements

EPA 608 Type I & II or EPA Universal is a very strong requirement for this position. If you do not possess your EPA Certification but have the right skills, experience, and drive, we may consider sponsoring (and paying) for your EPA Certification within your first 75 days on the job!
Ability to work independently in multi-site or larger properties and within a team environment, with the ability to travel to properties in the assigned region
High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience, or Groundskeeper experience
Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes

Responsibilities

Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
Assist in the property preventative maintenance plan
Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
