Floating Maintenance Technician - Commercial Buildings
About The Position
Cirrus Asset Management is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to provide exceptional property management services to property owners and residents. This role involves completing work orders, surveying buildings, and repairing various mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining locks, fire suppression systems, grounds, and performing manual repairs. Participation in ongoing training and maintaining a clean, safe work environment are also key aspects of the position. Documentation of work performance and materials procurement is required.
Requirements
- Previous working experience as a Maintenance Technician for retail/ mall and industrial buildings for (1) year(s)
- Must be able to travel to and from multiple properties on a as needed basis
- In depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Applicable knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Problem solving aptitude
- High school diploma
Nice To Haves
- Any additional relevant certification will be considered an advantage (Electrical, CMRP etc.)
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders within designated time frame
- Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
- Maintain and repair plumbing and heating components
- Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and controllers.
- Maintain and complete documentation for fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, building alarm contacts and other building systems
- Maintain grounds/ curb appeal to company an client standard
- Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Document work performance and materials procurement as directed
