About The Position
As a Floating Maintenance Manager, you are a critical leader within our Durham & Virginia portfolio. You will travel to different communities to provide high-level maintenance support during transitions, staffing gaps, or large-scale projects. We value your work-life balance: assignments are planned and communicated with ample lead time-no "day-of" surprises or sudden out-of-state travel.
Requirements
- Certifications: EPA and/or HVAC certification is required. CPO (Certified Pool Operator) is a major plus.
- Mobility: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation for travel within the Charlotte area.
- Experience: 5+ years of maintenance experience with a "people-centered" approach to resident service.
- Communication: Ability to adapt to different property teams and respond with care to resident needs.

Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Lead and perform complex repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance maintenance.
- Portfolio Support: Travel across the Durham & Virginia area to ensure vacant units are "market-ready" and service requests are resolved with excellence.
- Team Development: Assist in training on-site technicians, fostering LSA's culture of skill-building and proactive excellence.
- Quality Control: Conduct property inspections to ensure 100% compliance with safety protocols and LSA's high living standards.
