About The Position

As our Floating Concierge, you will work at different Dweck communities throughout the DC Metro region. The benefit of floating is that you'll learn the portfolio and its great exposure. Each property is different and has a cool story. Another cool thing about floating is that you set your own schedule by picking up different shifts (day, evening or overnight) any day of the week. Although, you must work a minimum of three shifts a month. You’ll be the first person people see as they walk into the building and the first voice they hear when they call in. You'll be involved in so many things throughout the day that'll make the time go fast. This is not a position where you'll just sit behind a desk answering phones. Oh, no. You'll be the go-to person for everyone in the building. You'll handle resident requests, log packages and sometimes drop-off to residents' doors, plan resident social events, coordinate maintenance requests and help the office team. You're the glue that keeps the community together.

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer service role (hospitality, retail, or property management preferred).
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Willingness to be trained if no prior experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet incoming guests and residents along with their furry family member.
  • Find out how you can help guests and guide them in the right direction.
  • Answer incoming calls and transfer them to the appropriate person.
  • Receive incoming mail and packages.
  • Log packages and give to resident at the desk or drop-off to resident's door upon request.
  • Conduct package audits to ensure delivery and improve efficiency of package handling.
  • Assist residents with emergencies, requests, or concerns (e.g., lockouts, restaurant reservations, guest parking passes, noise complaints, unkind neighbor behavior).
  • Respond and coordinate service requests with the maintenance team within 24 hours.
  • Follow protocol for emergency service requests to ensure they are handled right away.
  • Follow up with residents after service requests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Plan resident social events.
  • Assist the office team with administrative tasks.
