About The Position
The Learning Experience – Newark is seeking a flexible and dependable Floater Teacher to support classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. This role provides classroom coverage across age groups while helping maintain a positive and organized learning environment throughout the day.
Requirements
- TECE 1 or TECE 2 required
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Comfortable supporting multiple classroom environments
- Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented approach
- Must meet Delaware childcare licensing requirements
Responsibilities
- Support classrooms across multiple age groups as needed
- Assist with classroom routines, activities, and transitions
- Help maintain classroom organization and cleanliness
- Provide ratio coverage throughout the center
- Support meals, learning centers, and classroom preparation
- Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members
- Follow Delaware licensing and safety requirements
