As a Residential Floater/Medical Transport Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Arc of Acadiana, your primary responsibility will be transporting participants to medical appointments throughout the Rayne and Lafayette service areas. You will help participants arrive safely and on time, remain with them during appointments, communicate relevant information, and complete required documentation. This is a full-time position guaranteed a minimum of 32 hours per week. The position may require up to 40 or more hours per week based on appointment schedules, staffing, and operational needs. When not providing medical transportation, you will work as a DSP in assigned Community Group Homes. You must be available to work at least one residential DSP shift per week and may be assigned additional shifts depending on the medical appointment schedule and program needs. Flexibility to work any shift and provide coverage at any home within the assigned service area is essential.
