This position is a dual-role. From 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM, you will be a Floater Teacher providing classroom coverages, restroom and lunch breaks throughout the center. In the afternoon, you will be a Meck PreK After School Care Teacher from 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM. You will also be a substitute when Meck PreK staff are absent. And you will be expected to work all-day with the Meck PreK children on Teacher Workdays/Holidays. During the summer break for Meck PreK (mid-June to Mid-August), you will work as a summer camp teacher for children ages 4 - 10 years old. Under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, the Teacher supports daily classroom operations and the implementation of Cadence Education programs. This role helps create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports children’s physical, social, emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs, including those with IEPs. Teachers play a key role in maintaining classroom routines, supporting curriculum delivery, and building positive relationships with children and families while ensuring safety and licensing compliance.
