Floater/Firewatch Unarmed Security Guard - As Needed (SE)
About The Position
Our Floater/Firewatch Officers are responsible for providing quality physical security and fire watch coverage across multiple client sites on an as-needed basis. Duties include, but are not limited to: Rotating between assigned client sites as scheduling needs require, maintaining the same standard of service at each location. Following prescribed Standard Operating Procedures for basic and emergency responses. Maintaining detailed and accurate fire watch logs in accordance with fire code and client requirements. Continuously monitoring the property for fire hazards, alarm activations, and other fire-related concerns. Liaising with security and building management to communicate, escalate, and solve problems. Creating detailed reports on building activity. Patrolling the interior and exterior of the contract site. Performing duties in accordance with Post Orders. Controlling/restricting access to the property. Responding to major occurrences with intelligence, speed and accuracy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- North Carolina Guard Card
