This role offers a flexible 32-hour Monday-Friday schedule for our Floater Direct Support Professional role being offered in Port Henry, NY. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must possess a valid NYS driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Develop your skills in an environment rich with training opportunities and career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Promote individualization by honoring and offering choices to help encourage independence by actively involving program participants in various aspects of daily life.
- Provide physical assistance and emotional supports as needed.
- Network within the community to assist with development of friendships, employment/volunteer opportunities and natural supports.
