About The Position

Howard Building Maintenance is hiring a Float Team Cleaner to help cover multiple cleaning accounts throughout the Treasure Valley. This role is based in Caldwell, ID, and involves working Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM, with a pay rate of $18.00–$19.00/hr for 35–40 hours/week. The position offers variety in work, a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong leadership, clear expectations, and all necessary resources for success. The cleaner will start each shift at the Caldwell shop, pick up a company vehicle and supplies, and visit various job sites, sometimes working solo and sometimes with a partner.

Requirements

1+ year of professional cleaning experience preferred (but not required)
Strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude
Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation to/from our Caldwell shop
Smartphone (required for communication)
Must pass background and drug screening
Authorized to work in the U.S.
1 year of professional cleaning experience

Responsibilities

General cleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, and trash removal
Support tasks: Stocking supplies, inspecting facilities, and making deliveries when needed
Work independently while maintaining high-quality standards
