About The Position

Howard Building Maintenance is hiring a full-time Float Team Cleaner to support commercial cleaning accounts throughout the Treasure Valley. This role offers variety, independence, teamwork, and physical activity. The Float Team Cleaner plays a crucial role in covering accounts, supporting special projects, assisting with staffing needs, and ensuring exceptional client service. The position involves starting each shift at the Caldwell shop, picking up a company vehicle and supplies, and traveling to various commercial buildings. Some nights may be worked independently, while others may involve a partner or team. A company vehicle and fuel are provided during working hours. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy movement, variety, and working in different locations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to and from our Caldwell shop
• Smartphone required for communication
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

• Professional cleaning experience preferred, but not required — we are willing to train the right person
• Experienced in professional cleaning (1 year preferred)

Responsibilities

• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning
• Trash removal and maintaining clean common areas
• Restocking janitorial and paper supplies
• Facility inspections and reporting concerns
• Assisting with deliveries and supply organization
• Supporting special cleaning projects when needed
• Maintaining high-quality cleaning standards across all accounts
