About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality care focused on the comfort and well-being of patients and their families. This float-pool role serves all areas of the hospital, including the Emergency Department, behavioral health, and medical floors. The position is also cross-trained to assist the lift team with transport. The schedule is a 0.6 FTE day shift, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Requirements

• Current Washington State CNA license.
• Current BLS Certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a physician's office or other medical facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage basic care activities while delivering customer-service-oriented care to patients.
• Support care and services for patients from diverse ethnic and social groups.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health.
• Create and provide a safe, supportive environment for patients.
• Float to hospital areas including the Emergency Department, behavioral health, and medical floors.
• Assist with lift-team transport after cross-training.
