About The Position

BreakThrough Physical Therapy is seeking a Float Physical Therapist to support their outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine clinics across the Greater Raleigh region. This unique multi-site role serves 11 clinics spanning Sanford, NC to Oxford, NC, offering exposure to diverse patient populations, experienced clinical teams, and multiple practice settings. The Float PT will build clinical expertise across multiple locations, expand their professional network, and play a critical role in helping patients return to the activities they love. Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (DPT or equivalent) or eligible for North Carolina licensure
  • Passion for outpatient orthopedics and patient-centered care
  • CPR and First Aid Certification required
  • Ability and willingness to travel between clinic locations throughout the Greater Raleigh region
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting
  • Develop individualized plans of care focused on functional outcomes
  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions and patient education
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple clinic locations
  • Build strong relationships with patients, referral sources, and clinical partners
  • Help patients achieve meaningful improvements in mobility, function, and quality of life
