About The Position
This is a full-time Physical Therapist position in an outpatient orthopedic clinic located in Jacksonville, FL. The clinic offers a high-energy environment with a built-in referral pipeline from on-site physicians and surgeons. The role emphasizes practicing manual therapy and allows therapists to treat 1.5 patients per hour, significantly less than typical high-volume clinics. New graduates are welcome. The clinic provides state-of-the-art equipment and modalities, a collaborative team, and a compensation structure that rewards performance without excessive patient loads.
Requirements
- DPT (or equivalent) from an accredited PT program
- Active Florida PT license — or eligible to obtain before start date
- Strong manual therapy skills and therapeutic exercise expertise
- High-energy personality — the kind that pulls patients out of a slump and keeps them showing up
- Comfortable managing more than one patient at a time in a busy clinic
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient ortho experience (or strong clinical rotations) preferred
Responsibilities
- Build and adjust individualized treatment plans rooted in solid clinical reasoning
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with physicians and surgeons on a unified plan of care
- Coach patients and families on post-op protocols and home exercise programs
- Mentor PT students and newer staff
- Document cleanly and on time in our EMR
