About The Position

Vancouver Clinic is seeking WA State credentialed MA-Phlebotomists for both Full Time and Part Time Float positions. This role requires individuals who are passionate about providing excellent customer service and high-quality patient care. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and involves floating to various locations. As a professional representative of the laboratory, the phlebotomist is crucial in creating a positive patient experience. The role also involves working collaboratively with the healthcare team to support positive outcomes. A strong understanding of department procedures, as well as computerized EMR and Lab Information Systems, is essential. Multiple schedules are available, including Full Time (40 hours per week) and Part Time (30 hours per week). Float shifts are typically scheduled Monday through Friday between 6:45 AM and 6:00 PM, and include a rotating Saturday shift from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, across Washington or Oregon locations. Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions, including vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credential required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required
  • Ability to calm patients and work under stressful conditions
  • The ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas is an essential function of all positions at the Clinic

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one year of experience using blood collection techniques in a clinical lab setting is preferred
