About The Position

Vancouver Clinic is seeking WA State credentialed MA-Phlebotomists for both Full Time and Part Time Float positions who are passionate about providing excellent customer service and high-quality patient care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and will require floating to various locations. As a professional representative of the laboratory, the phlebotomist plays a key role in creating a positive patient experience. Float shifts are typically scheduled Monday through Friday between 6:45 AM and 6:00 PM, and include a rotating Saturday shift, 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and can be in either Washington or Oregon locations. Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions, including vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. The ability to work with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas is an essential function. Vancouver Clinic is the largest multi-specialty clinic in Southwest Washington, a physician-owned group focused on excellent patient care. The clinic has several locations throughout Clark County, Washington, an area known for its schools, neighborhoods, restaurants, and recreational opportunities, with Portland, Oregon, only minutes away. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credential required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required
  • Ability to calm patients and work under stressful conditions
  • A strong understanding of department procedures, as well as computerized EMR and Lab Information Systems, is essential
  • Ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one year of experience using blood collection techniques in a clinical lab setting is preferred
