About The Position
Genoa Healthcare is seeking a full-time Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties associated with processing prescriptions. This onsite role floats among Genoa pharmacies in Southern New Jersey, including Millville, Sewell, Carneys Point, and Cape May Court House. The pharmacist works as part of a coordinated care team serving behavioral health and addiction treatment communities and helping people with complex health conditions access and follow their medication plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Current pharmacist license in New Jersey.
- Certified immunizer, or willing to become an immunizer within three months of hire.
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Distribute drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
- Provide customers with information about medications and their use.
- Deliver a superior level of customer service.
- Ensure compliance with applicable State Board of Pharmacy laws.
- Administer immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
- Perform other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
