About The Position

Las Ventanas, a Human Good Community located in Las Vegas - Nevada, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to actively incorporate their “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care.” The role involves developing awareness of residents’ interests and needs, assisting residents to maximize their independence and participation by providing exemplary care for basic needs, activities of daily living, and recreational activities. The CNA will also help create a safe environment for resident care. This is a true Float Position, requiring the individual to float between the Health Center, Assisted Living, and Memory Support.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant certificate or currently enrolled in program

Nice To Haves

• Prior CNA or caregiving experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop awareness of residents’ interests and needs
• Assist residents to maximize their independence and participation
• Provide exemplary care to residents ranging from basic needs, to activities of daily living, to recreational activities
• Help create a safe environment in which to provide resident care
• Float between the Health Center, Assisted Living, and Memory Support
