About The Position

Hands at Home Care Services is hiring Full-Time Caregivers in the Portland and surrounding areas. This is a guaranteed-hours position, meaning you are paid even if a client shift cancels. The role offers stability, flexibility, and respect for your time, making it ideal for dependable, compassionate individuals who enjoy helping where needed most. As a Float Caregiver, you will provide personal care and assistance with daily activities, companionship, light homemaking, and coverage support for clients when regular caregivers are unavailable. This role is perfect for those who enjoy variety, meeting different clients, and want reliable income without worrying about cancellations. You will be paid for training, shadowing, or support work to meet your weekly guarantee when client hours are light. The service area includes Portland and surrounding areas, with most assignments being local, though occasional longer drives may occur. Mileage is reimbursed at $0.725/mile.

Requirements

Ability to pass a background check
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
Immunization records (MMR, Varicella, Flu within past 12 months)

Nice To Haves

1+ year caregiving experience preferred (home care, assisted living, or facility)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
